Woman Arrested for Assault

Woman released on $3000 bail following altercation

PIKE TWP. – State Police report an incident of Simple Assault and Harassment that occurred on November 14 at approximately 10:00 am in Pike Township on the Yahn Road.

Police say a known 22-year-old woman and a known 24-year-old man were involved in a physical altercation in which both subjected one another to physical contact. The unidentified man suffered injuries to his face and neck as a result of the altercation.

The woman was arrested and taken before on-call District Judge Annette Easton. She was released on $3,000 unsecured bail.

A Preliminary Hearing will take place in District Court 55-3-04 in Galeton.

The man will also be charged with Harassment.
