‘National Moment Of Remembrance’ Sept. 11

The Potter County Commissioners have joined county and local governments across the country in encouraging local participation in the National Moment of Remembrance on Sunday, Sept. 11, marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorists’ attack on America.  At 1 pm, churches will ring their bells and emergency organizations will sound their sirens for one minute as a show of national unity. A remembrance service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm in Shinglehouse’s Assembly Park, sponsored by the Oswayo Valley Ministerium.
