Norman L. Scott, 76, of 432 South Avenue, Bradford, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

He was born on October 17, 1934 in Marshburg, a son of the late Harold V. Scott and Marion “Ruth” Hutton Graves.

On January 16, 2009 he married Linda L. Rodriguez in Bradford.

Mr. Scott was a life long Long-haul truck driver.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman; who especially enjoyed stream fishing with his family. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.

In addition to his wife of two years, he is also survived by three sons, Ronald (Debra) Scott, Bradford, Michael Scott,Cleveland, OH, Nathan (Alexa) Scott, Fayetteville, NC, four daughters, Norma Valdez, Robin (Charles) Calcagno, both of Bradford, Brenda (Jimmy) Pennington, Cleveland, OH, Lucrecia (Joe) Montoya, Denver, CO, two sisters, Joyce (Emery) Palmer, Cleveland, OH, Edna (Harland) Burno, Tucson, AZ, thirty grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was also preceded in death by four sons, Robert L. Scott, James Scott, Matthew Scott, Brian Scott Brown, one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Orona, two brothers, Harold Scott, Jr., William D. Scott, and two
sisters, Dorothy Besecker, Juanita Diethrich.

Visitation will be held at the Mascho Funeral Home on Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at which time funeral services will be held with the Rev. Leo Gallina, pastor of St. Bernard Catholic Church, officiating.
Memorial contributions in his memory can be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford.
