6 – 10 Inches of Snow Possible through Tuesday Night
1 min readMCKEAN CO. – Six to ten inches of snow is possible throughout the snow-belt as a strong front will begin ushering in high winds and lake effect snow late this evening.
The National Weather Service in State College has issued a Lake Effect Snow Warning for McKean and Warren counties from 1 am Monday until 7 pm on Tuesday.
Areas west of Warren are expected to see the heaviest snowfall. Winds are expected to be between 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Temperatures will be in the high 20’s on Monday, dipping to into the teens on Tuesday. Wind chills will dip below zero.
