6 Yr. Old Oswayo Boy Suffers Major Injury, Flown to Children’s Hospital

OSWAYO – A 6-year-old boy suffered major injury and was flown to a children’s hospital in Buffalo yesterday, after the bicycle he was riding collided with a Ford Expedition.

Police said 54-year-old Lori Roeske was traveling northbound on School Street in the Boro of Oswayo when the boy entered the road on his bicycle and traveled in front of Roeske’s vehicle.

Police said the boy was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and suffered major injury.

Police say an investigation continues. Roeske has not been charged in the crash.
