68-Yr-Old Man Busted for Selling Switchblades, Stun Guns at Cross Fork Snake Hunt
1 min readCROSS FORK – A 68-year-old Altoona man was arrested and then released on $10,000 unsecured bail before on-call District Judge Barbara Easton, after he was allegedly dealing in prohibitive offensive weapons at the Cross Fork Snake Hunt.
Police say Joseph Ronald Gallagher, acting as a vendor at the event, was found to be in possession and dealing the weapons at the snake hunt on Saturday, June 25. Among the weapons listed were switchblade knives, stun guns, and brass knuckles.
Court records indicate Gallagher has been charged with one first-degree misdemeanor count of selling offensive weapons.
A Preliminary Hearing scheduled for today, June 30, has been re-scheduled for August 10 at 1:30 pm.
