82-Yr-Old Man Murdered, Wife Hospitalized following Assault in Tioga Co.

LIBERTY TWP. – State Police in Mansfield say they are investigating the homicide of an 82-year-old Liberty, PA man.
Police say Oliver Litzelman was found dead, and his wife, 81-year-old Edwina Litzelman severely injured after the couple was assaulted in their home on State Route 414. Police say a family member found the couple Sunday morning. Mrs. Litzelman was flown from the scene by a medical helicopter for treatment of injuries that police say “required immediate medical attention”.
No information regarding who, or what type of assault was provided, and police say they are seeking a person of interest in connection with an ongoing investigation. Police described this person as a white, middle-aged female, possibly operating a green sedan.
