Potter County EMA Announces Training Opportunities

Potter County Emergency Management Agency has announced two training opportunities for emergency responders. More information is available at 274-8900. Instruction is scheduled as follows:

• Pump I Operations for volunteer firefighters has been scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 30-31, from 8 am to 5 pm at the Austin Firehall. Jim Shepard will be the instructor. Participants must register by Oct. 25. Lunch will be provided.
• Landing Zone Training is scheduled for Monday, Nov. 1, at the Coudersport Ambulance Hall. Classroom training begins at 6:30 pm. LifeNet Helicopter arrives at 8. Registration is due by Oct. 29.
