Sample Ballot For Nov. 2 Election On County Website

voteA sample ballot for the Tuesday, Nov. 2, General Election has been made available for public review by Potter County Director of Elections Sandy Lewis. It’s posted on the county website here. Click on the “Departments” tab at upper left of the site and go to Elections/Voter Registration.

Polls in all voting districts will be open from 7 am to 8 pm. The ballot is fairly simple throughout the county:

U.S. Senator — Joe Sestak (Democrat) and Pat Toomey (Republican);

Governor and Lieutenant Governor –  Republicans Tom Corbett/Jim Cawley and Democrats Dan Onorato/H. Scott Conklin;

Representative in Congress from the 5th District — Michael Pipe (Democrat), Glenn Thompson (Republican) and Vernon L. Etzel (Libertarian);

Representative in the Pa. General Assembly from the 67th District – Martin T. Causer, Republican, unopposed.

There are 10,867 county residents age 18 and older who are eligible to cast ballots. Breakdown is 6,596 Republicans, 3,357 Democrats and 914 voters of other affiliations or no affiliations. Of the latter, there are 787 who are non-partisan or independent. Potter County also has 51 Libertarians, 16 members of the Green Party and 9 Constitutional Party members.
