Woman Was Following Ambulance and Husband Before Fatal Crash

CATTARAUGUS COUNTY – The woman who fell victim to a fatal traffic accident last week in Salamanca has been identified.

Deborah Brown, 52, from Cattaraugus County was operating a Dodge Caravan when she missed a stop sign and entered the path of a dump truck.  The dump truck, which had the right of way, impacted her vehicle with enough force  to drive it into a house before rolling over on the minivan and trapping her inside.

Brown was following an ambulance with her husband inside.  The ambulance was rushing to Olean General Hospital.
