Charles Cole Receives HAP Award

Kelly Thompson, senior director, regulatory advocacy, Hospital and Healthysystem Association of Pennsylvania, recently presented Charles Cole Memorial Hospital with HAP’s 2010 Achievement Award.

Thompson noted that CCMH’s entry, “Community Benefit Advisory Committees: Advancing Community Partnerships,” stood out among more than 130 entries HAP received for being innovative and creative. “Nineteen judges representing the public and private sectors, health care and business organizations, the media, and for-profit and nonprofit entities evaluated the entries,” she said. “Your story will be shared in many venues over the course of this year as an example of true dedication and commitment to the community.”
