Ulysses Man Charged with Aggravated Assault

Man pepper sprayed after altercation with police

Kyle M. Hermanowski, 19, of Academy Street in Ulysses, was charged by Wellsboro police with Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct.

Police say Hermanowski ran a red light and then got out of his car before becoming aggressive with police and yelling profanities at them. A physical altercation ensued after Hermanowski refused to obey orders to stop. The altercation ended with Hermanowski being pepper sprayed.

He is currently incarcerated in the Tioga County jail.
