Potter County Flood Damage Estimates Due Today By 2 PM

Potter County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) has issued an advisory to all townships and boroughs about an important reporting deadline for initial assessments of flood damage occurring from Tuesday through today. That deadline is 2 pm today (Thursday, Dec. 2).

EMA is compiling the reports as part of process of qualifying for federal disaster relief that could provide financial assistance to municipalities and individuals affected by the flooding. Property owners who experienced flood damage are asked to contact their township or borough offices to report specifics. Anyone with questions should call Potter County EMA at 814-274-8900.
