* PRECIPITATION TYPE…POCKETS OF FREEZING RAIN EARLY THIS MORNING…MAINLY ON THE RIDGETOPS. LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL FALL OVER THE AREA MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
* ACCUMULATIONS…LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH OF ICE EARLY THIS MORNING. SNOWFALL TOTALS IN EXCESS OF 8 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE BETWEEN MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
* TIMING…POCKETS OF ICE EARLY THIS MORNING…THEN SNOW MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
* IMPACTS…DIFFICULT TRAVEL ON UNTREATED ROADS AND SIDEWALKS. FALLING SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL CREATE NEAR WHITEOUT CONDITIONS AT TIMES MONDAY AND TUESDAY. ROADWAYS WILL BE DIFFICULT TO KEEP CLEAR DUE TO DRIFTING SNOW. TRAVEL WILL BE DIFFICULT. WIND CHILLS WILL DROP TO THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE AND BELOW ZERO BY TUESDAY.
