Belmont Home Suffers Heavy Damage in Fire

A home in Belmont caught fire early this morning as firefighters were called out for the second time this week around the same time.
Fire officials said the resident was not home at the time of the fire. No injuries were reported during the early firefighting efforts.
The call came in at 3:25 a.m. Firefighters from Belmont, Friendship, Scio, Belfast, FAST Team 1 and Angelica were at the scene along with two ambulances from the Amity Rescue Squad.
