Josh Hatcher Band Performs at First Night Bradford
2 min readPotter County Native and current resident of Bradford, PA Josh Hatcher has been making music since he was a kid, but, he says, it’s 2010 that has really opened up some exciting doors for his music.
“This past year, the band really came together. I’ve played solo for years, just waiting for the right group of musicians to come along,” says Hatcher.
The Josh Hatcher Band, in addition to Josh, features: Ariel Campbell-Stavish (Backing Vocals, Keyboards), Chris Stavish (Drums), Greg Elderkin (Bass), and Dwayne Edgar (electric guitar).
Hatcher says, “Most of these guys are friends that I’ve connected with through church… and living in close community together has really helped us come up with some creative ideas, and helped us really gel musically.”
In 2010, Josh was asked to open as a solo musical act for “Gasland” when the movie played in Bradford. The band helped organize and performed at several benefit concerts, including the “Rock for Haiti” benefit, as well as playing a set at The Dam Show in Austin, PA, and at Olga’s Cafe in Coudersport.
The Josh Hatcher Band played two sets New Year’s Eve for First Night Bradford, entertaining fans from all over the region, even drawing some from as far as Lockport, NY. “I’m really honored to get to play with these guys, but I’m even more honored to have these people in my life as friends,” says Hatcher.
