1 min read

The Borough police officer in Ridgway who stood trial for hunting from a motorized vehicle, has been found guilty.

36-year-old Shawn Geci was fined $400 for two Pennsylvania Game Law violations.

Geci used an all-terrain vehicle to hunt wildlife on December 3 in Johnsonburg.

This is Geci’s fourth game law conviction since 2003. In 2005 he was fined $300 for illegally taking or possessing wildlife, and in 2003 he was fined $200 for the unlawful presence of a firearm in a vehicle.
