Potter County Historical Society will present a special program on a fascinating 18th century missionary who came to Potter County to spread his religious beliefs to Native Americans. “David Zeisberger Revisited” will be the topic of a presentation by Historical Society president David Castano at 2 pm Sunday, Jan. 30, at the museum on North Main Street in Coudersport. The public is welcome.
David Zeisberger was a Moravian clergyman and a missionary to Native American peoples. He entered the Potter County wilderness in 1767 to minister to Lenape (Delaware) Indians.
