Chicken & Biscuits Luncheon Feb. 27 To Help Meals On Wheels
1 min readFrom Potter County Today
Potter County Area Agency on Aging staffers will volunteer their time to wait on tables, wash dishes and otherwise help with a chicken and biscuit dinner to be held as a fundraiser for the county’s senior population. The event will be held at the Hotel Crittenden in Coudersport on Sunday, Feb. 27, from 11 am to 2:30 p.m. Proceeds will support the agency’s home-delivered meals program. Cost is $8.00 and the smorgasbord will include chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes, vegetable choice, dessert and coffee or tea. Takeouts are available.
Area Agency On Aging Director Donna Foust (shown) points out that demand for the “Meals on Wheels” program fluctuates, but funding limitations have resulted in her organization having to maintain a waiting list for those requesting home-delivered meals. More information on the meals program and the Feb. 27 fundraiser is available at 544-7315.
