‘Deadliest Catch’ Crew Member found Dead
ANCHORAGE, AK – Police have confirmed the death of a member of the hit TV series ‘Deadliest Catch’.
Justin Tennison was found dead Tuesday afternoon in a Homer hotel room.
Several news agencies report that Tennison rented two adjoining hotel rooms the evening before his death. Witnesses say he was throwing a party.
Police found hard liquor, beer, and a small amount of marijuana in his hotel room.
“Justin was tough as a bull and was an all-around good hand,” a statement posted on the Time Bandit’s official website said.
Weinberg also released a statement, saying Discovery was saddened by the news.
“We send our sympathies to his entire family and fellow crew members during this most difficult time,” the statement said.
Police do not believe foul play was involved. An autopsy was scheduled for yesterday.
A little over a year ago, Capt. Phil Harris of the ‘Deadliest Catch’ fishing vessel Cornelia Marie, died of a massive stroke.
