Residents Assaulted in Kane Home Invasion

KANE – Two Wetmore Township residents were assaulted after two masked men knocked on their door, assaulted them, and then burglarized their home.

Police say the men, who were wearing camouflage ski-masks and tan jackets, knocked on the door of a home belonging to 26-year-old Josh Bodistow and 26-year-old Jessica Healsey. The men then struck Bodistow and Healsey in the head with a pipe wrench and wooden stick.

Both were treated at Kane Community Hospital for their injuries.

Police are still searching for the suspects.
