The Pennsylvania House recently began consideration of Castle Doctrine legislation in Harrisburg. House Bill 40 would allow Pennsylvanians to defend themselves and their families against an attacker, and according to House Speaker Sam Smith (R-Jefferson), Pennsylvanians would not have to fear legal retribution for doing so.
