Girl Escapes Otto Township Mobile Home Fire

A 17 year-old girl escaped a mobile home fire early Sunday morning on Looker Mountain Trail in Otto Township. Otto Township volunteer firefighters say the girl was asleep and awakened by smoke, but was able to get out of the burning home safely. Damage was estimated at $30,000 and the cause was listed as a propane leak behind a kitchen range. The home is owned by Tammy Howard of Rixford.
