Four Life-flighted following Route 15 Crash

Four people were flown to hospitals Sunday afternoon after a four-vehicle pileup in a Make-A-Wish Foundation procession on Route 15 in Adams County.
When the procession stopped unexpectedly, four trucks — including two Rutters trucks and a Snyder’s of Hanover delivery truck — struck one another in a chain reaction, police said.
From the Snyder’s truck, the first to make impact, police said, two or three people were thrown through the windshield and run over. They were trapped until fire crews could rescue them.
