1 min read

GENESEE TWP. – A Ulysses man escaped major injury after he was ejected from a rollover crash on Route 449 on Sunday, June 24.

Police say 27-year-old Jason Becker was driving a 1987 Toyota 4-Runner north on Route 449, when for unknown reasons, his vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a culvert on the eastern shoulder of the road. After striking the culvert, police say Becker’s vehicle went airborne and rolled over, coming to rest on the eastern shoulder of the road.

Police say Becker, who was ejected from the vehicle during the crash, only suffered minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.

Becker’s passenger, 23-year-old Jillian Sawyer, of Whitesville, NY, also suffered minor injuries in the crash and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Police say Becker’s vehicle suffered disabling damage in the crash and was towed from the scene by Kightlinger Motors of Coudersport.
