Potter County Commissioners Adopt Proclamation Encouraging Participation in National Moment of Remembrance on Sunday
1 min readToday, the Potter County Commissioners have adopted a Proclamation which joins county and local governments across the country in encouraging local participation in the National Moment of Remembrance on Sunday, September 11, marking the 10th anniversary of the terrorists’ attack on America.
At 1 pm, the Commissioners encourage all churches to ring their bells and all emergency organizations to sound their sirens as a show of national unity.
A remembrance service will be held on Sunday at 2 pm in Shinglehouse’s Assembly Park, sponsored by the Oswayo Valley Ministerium.
