State Grants Available To Fire, Ambulance Services

Volunteer fire companies and ambulance services have until Nov. 4 to apply for state grants being provided through legalized gambling in the state. Funds can be used for building construction or renovation, purchase or repair of equipment, training or debt reduction.

Maximum grant is $15,000 for fire companies and $10,000 for ambulance services. More information is available at 1-800-670-3473.
