Public Support Encouraged For Food Bank, Pet Shelter

Potter County employees are once again holding a holiday food drive and encouraging community members to support it. Everything that is collected from now until the end of the year will be donated to local food banks and Teacher’s Pet Rescue. That’s right — pet food and pet supplies are welcome, too!

Collection bins for non-perishable items have been placed in the main hallways of the Gunzburger Building (use Main Street entrance) and the courthouse.

Employees are also raising raise funds for the county’s Meals On Wheels program and Christmas House with a 50/50 drawing, raffles, and other activities. For more information, contact Sherry Ianson at 260-5659, ext. 313.
