COLD AIR WILL CONTINUE TO RUSH ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES THROUGH TUESDAY. THE WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CAUSE LAKE EFFECT AND LAKE ENHANCED SNOW FALL THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW…WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TUESDAY.

* LOCATIONS…THE NORTHERN AND WESTERN MOUNTAINS.

* HAZARD TYPES…SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS…3 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW.

* TIMING…THROUGH MID DAY TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS…SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES QUICKLY IN SQUALLS. ROADS WILL BE SLIPPERY AND DIFFICULT TO KEEP CLEAR DUE TO BLOWING SNOW.

* WINDS…WEST 10 TO 15 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES…LESS THAN HALF OF A MILE AT TIMES.
