Federal Income Tax Filing Deadline Extended

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The IRS has announced the deadline for filing your federal income taxes has been extended from April 15, 2012 until April 17, 2012.

This move is a result of the celebration of Emancipation Day in the District of Columbia, which by law has the same effect as a federal holiday.
