Facebook Seeking $84k in Legal Fees from Ceglia

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Facebook lawyers are seeking $84,000 in legal fees from Wellsville’s Paul Ceglia.

A judge recently ruled that Ceglia caused delays in his suit against the $50 billion company and was responsible for reimbursing the company’s legal fees.

Facebook says the extra work caused by Ceglia’s delay cost $84,000. Ceglia’s lawyer, Dean Boland, disputes that amount and has asked the judge to reject the figure and provide an amount in line with Buffalo area legal rates.

Ceglia was also fined $5,000 for not providing access to his email accounts when requested.
