2 min readPort Allegany – Bernard V. Corsaw, 90, of, Smethport formally of Roulette, died Thursday (March 15, 2012) in the Sena Kean Manor, Smethport.
He was born Aug 2, 1921 in Fishing Creek, a son of Orsey and Lida Morey Corsaw.
Mr. Corsaw attended Fishing Creek Schools and was a member of the Fishing Creek Methodist Church.
Mr. Corsaw was a Laborer, employed by National Fuel Gas in Mt. Jewett, PA
Mr. Corsaw loved his horses and used them for logging and for the pleasure of others by giving sleigh buggy and hay rides,
He is survived by
One nephew, David (Ardith) Corsaw of Smithfield , IL; and one niece, Wanda (Byron) Crawley of San Jose, IL; 2 great niece, Ann (Ken) Slotta of Turtlepoint, PA and Becky (Dean) Boorum of Port Allegany,
PA; Five great nephew, Chris (Leasa) Causer, David(Cathy) Causer, Peter (Janet) Causer, Jody (Christine) Causer, all of Turtlepoint, PA and Thomas (Michelle) Causer of., Smethport, PA and several nieces and nephews in Illinois
Mr. Corsaw was preceded in death by his parents 2 sisters Hazel Causer and Delhia Cunningham and 2 brothers Melvin and Kenneth Corsaw
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, from 11A.M. To 1 P.M. at the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm with the Rev Ardith Corsaw, niece of Mr. Corsaw, Officiating. Burial will be in the Fishing Creek Cemetery, Roulette.
