DUI in Austin

Trooper Justin M. Lemaire reports that on 3-22-2012 at 11:00 pm on SR 872 at Ruth Street in Austin the state police were dispatched to a one vehicle crash with no injuries.  The vehicle, a Chevrolet Silverado, had minor damage.  Upon further investigation it was found that both individuals involved were driving under the influence.  Witnesses at the scene put both individuals behind the driver’s seat prior to and after the crash.  Both individuals had operated the vehicle.  Both were taken into custody and later released pending criminal charges.  Kightlingers towed the vehicle.  Persons involved are Michael Anthony Majot, 50, and Kelly Rae Majot, 51, both of Austin.
