Sustainable Backyard Landscape series to kick off in March
1 min readA workshop series focusing on backyard sustainability will be offered throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania in 2012. The series is sponsored by DCNR, the Penn State Cooperative Extension and the Pennsylvania Environmental Council. The series includes:
- Woods in Your Backyard – March 30 at Keystone College, LaPlume; and March 31 at East Stroudsburg University
- Landscaping with a Purpose: Rain Gardens in Your Backyard – May 12 at Frances Slocum State Park
- What’s Invading Your Backyard? Invasive Plants & Pests – June 2 at Nescopeck State Park
- Sustainable Landscapes Bus Tour – Sept. 20 in Luzerne County
