Baker Arrested for Theft by Deception
1 min readTrooper Glen C. Drake II of the Coudersport PSP reports that on 4-9-12 William James Baker of Roulette was arrested for Theft by Deception. Milton Irvine Beacker of Gaines took his John Deere 450 bulldozer to Baker at Baker’s Welding and Equipment Repair Service Shop on 4th Street in Roulette in October of 2006 for repairs. Beacker paid $8,000 in advance for repairs and was told the job would be completed in March 2007. The job never got completed. In the fall of 2011 Beacker contacted PSP Coudersport for an investigation. Baker was given until March 1, 2012 to do the job he was hired to complete. The job was never completed. Baker was arraigned before MDJ Stubbs. Bail was set at $10,000 unsecured.
