Headwaters LLC Plans Water Cleaning Facility in Ulysses

Preston Hoopes’ Headwaters LLC has plans to bring a water purifying facility to Ulysses.  The process involved, taken from the Rev H20 website, follows:

The proposed site is along Rt. 49, just south of Ulysses.  Hoopes has been involved in the trucking of fresh water and fracking waste for the drilling industry, making expansion to a no-discharge treatment facility a reasonable extension of that business.

Hoopes received funding for the project from Ben Franklin Technology Partners, one of the nation’s longest-running technology-based economic development programs.
