Arthur Seymour Sentenced

On April 11, 2012, in the Court of Common Pleas, No. 40-2011, Arthur Seymour received the following sentence:

As to Count 1: Fleeing or Attempt to Elude (M2) Serve a term of 12 months probation, pay fine of $300.00.

As to Count 2: DUI: 1st Off.(M) Serve a term of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months incarceration which shall run concurrent to Count 1, pay fine of $1,000.00.

As to Count 4: Reckless Driving (S) Pay fine of $200.00.

As to Count 6: Duties At Stop Sign (S) Pay fine of $25.00.

The defendant will pay the costs of court.  The defendant shall pay a supervision fee of $25 per month, and an administrative fee of $20 per month for all the time spent on probation/parole.

The defendant will perform 20 hours of community service for Potter County at the discretion of Probation and the defendant shall be responsible for the cost of insurance regarding his/her participation.  The defendant shall be paroled at the expiration of his minimum sentence if he is of good behavior.  The defendant shall be work release eligible.  The defendant will comply with all terms and conditions of parole or probation, including the following special conditions:  The defendant will pay a fee of $100.00 under Act 198.  The defendant will attend AA and/or NA meetings as directed.  The defendant will be the subject of a comprehensive Drug and Alcohol Evaluation and comply with all treatment recommendations relative to drug and alcohol abuse, at  his/her own expense.   The defendant will attend DUI Alcohol Safe Driving School and be responsible for the cost thereof.  The defendant is sentenced to take part in the Potter County Victim Impact Panel Presentation to be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 7:00 PM in the Courtroom.  The defendant will pay a fee of $35.00 in cash to defray cost, payable in full at the time of the presentation.  The defendant’s participation and attendance are mandatory.  The defendant’s driver’s license shall be suspended for a period of 12 months.
