Marble Crashes
1 min readTrooper Daniel Denucci of the Mansfield PSP reports than on 4-21-12 at 2110 hours he investigated a crash which occurred on US Hwy 15 North at segment 132. A 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Aldwyn Marble, 23, of Harpursville, NY was travelling north in the right lane of SR15, negotiating a right curve when Marble fell asleep, allowing the vehicle to travel off the roadway and onto the east berm. Marble attempted to steer back onto the roadway and lost control of the vehicle, which traveled into the left lane, then back across the right lane and then back onto the east berm. The front of the vehicle impacted the guide rail. The vehicle spun clockwise after the initial impact and came to final rest in the east berm facing the south direction. Marble reported no injuries at the scene. He was not seatbelted. The vehicle was not functional and was towed by Shawn’s Automotive. Marble was cited for PAVC 3309 Roadways Laned for Traffic and received a PA Warning for a Seatbelt Infraction. PSP was assisted at the scene by Wellsboro Fire Ambulance and Blossburg Fire Department.
