Major Prison Reform Bill Passes PA House
1 min readHARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania House has unanimously passed sweeping prison reform legislation that would reduce ballooning prison costs in Pennsylvania.
Rep. Glen Grell (R-Cumberland) a member of the Judiciary Committee said this bill will save taxpayer dollars by giving the Department of Corrections the flexibility to place non-violent prisoners in less expensive detention facilities and rehabilitation programs.
