Community Blood Bank Prepares For Upcoming Holiday

With the Fourth of July falling on a Wednesday this year, instead of preparing for a long weekend, The Community Blood Bank will essentially be facing a 9+ day period of very light donor turnout and increased potential for heavy blood usage.

It only takes approximately an hour to make a difference in the lives of 3 of your family and neighbors.

So roll up your sleeve and save 3 lives.

On Wednesday, June 20, a blood drive will be held at the Roulette Fire Hall from 12:30 – 4:30 pm.

On Thursday, June 21, a blood drive will be held at the Emporium Wellness Center from 11 am – 4 pm.

On Thursday, July 5, a blood drive will be held at the Charles Cole Hospital conference room from 1 – 6:00 pm.

Anyone donating blood will be automatically entered to win one of two gas gift cards (drawing held for each blood drive).
