Triple Divide Watershed Group To Meet Wednesday
1 min readNext meeting of the Triple Divide Watershed Coalition of Potter County will be held at 9 am Wednesday, July 11, at the Gunzburger Building in Coudersport. The session is open to the public. Those attending should use the Main Street entrance. Meeting room is on the immediate left.
Coalition chairman John McLaughlin reports that members will be discussing future watershed protection options and related topics, followed by a tour of Coudersport Borough’s water treatment facilities. Among those scheduled to attend is Mark Stephens, a geologist with the Pa. Dept. of Environmental Protection who has been assisting local leaders in protecting public drinking water sources. Also scheduled to be discussed at Wednesday’s meeting is the potential uses for the organization’s new website, tripledividewatershed.com.
