Summer Reading began on June 13th with the over-all theme of “Dream Big- Read!”. We had 32 children registered the first week and discussed “Dreams & Wishes”. Week two was all about nocturnal animals and we had a visit from Bwana Jim and his animals. Our guest reader that week was Katie Duell. Week three brought about a visit from Bonnie Surra who taught us all about stars and space. Sarah Rhodes visited to read to the children. Summer reading will resume on July 11th with remaining topics of monsters, s’more fun campfire and pajama party. Check out pictures of the fun we’ve had on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/ovmlibrary.
