State Police Investigating Death of Genesee Man
1 min readGENESEE – State Police in Coudersport say they are investigating the death of 77-year-old Joseph L. Cherry, of River Road, Genesee.
Police say Cherry was discovered deceased inside his home by members of PSP Coudersport Patrol Unit on Nov. 30.
Cherry, who was pronounced deceased by Potter County Coroner Kevin Dusenbury, Sr., at 10:15 pm on Nov. 30, is believed to have died several days earlier as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
An investigation is ongoing, according to police.
