Manfield PSP Investigating Fatal Hit-and-Run

MANSFIELD – State Police in Mansfield say they are investigating a fatal hit-and-run crash that claimed the life of a 46-year-old Tioga County man.

According to a news release, Brett M. Gee was operating a 1993 Kawasaki Ninja north on Corwin Road when he crested a hill and struck the rear of a vehicle which was stopped in the roadway.

Police said the driver of the stopped vehicle fled the scene.

Gee was pronounced dead at the scene by Tioga Co. Deputy Coroner Robert Gee (no relation to the deceased). An autopsy has been scheduled for July 30.

Police say they have identified the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run, but have not released any details regarding that vehicle. An investigation continues.
