Driver Killed in Route 287 Crash
1 min readMIDDLEBURY TWP. – State Police in Mansfield say a Tioga man was killed as the result of an accident along Route 287 early this morning.
Police say 22-year-old Stephen J. Anderegg was traveling south, when for unknown reasons, he drifted into oncoming traffic. Police say Anderegg then over-corrected, causing his 1995 Honda Passport to go into a yaw and rotate clockwise, before leaving the roadway and rolling. Police say Aneregg was ejected onto a lawn during the crash.
State Police were assisted at the scene by Middlebury Twp. Fire Dept., Tioga Firemans, Coppers Body Shop, Buckheits Funer Home and Tioga County Coroner Dr. Willson.
