Local Arrests and Accidents

A series of incidents occurred in the region, resulting in multiple arrests and accidents. In Wellsville, Nichole R. Lee, a 30-year-old resident, was taken into custody and charged with third-degree burglary and petit larceny. The charges are related to an incident at a local 7-Eleven store. Lee is currently being held at the Allegany County Jail pending arraignment.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported two separate incidents. Jesse Martin, a 42-year-old Salamanca resident, was charged with second-degree contempt stemming from a domestic incident. Additionally, Tisha K. Hein, a 20-year-old Olean resident, was arrested on a felony bench warrant and is being held at the Cattaraugus County Jail.

The New York State Police responded to several accidents and incidents. A one-vehicle accident occurred on Route 15 in Angelica, resulting in one reported injury. The driver, 74-year-old Chris Aaron Wolfer, was identified and the incident is under investigation. Furthermore, several individuals were charged with driving while intoxicated, including Jody L. Updike, James M. McGough, and Michale Otto Knipple. Christina L. Barrick was also charged with third-degree criminal trespass.
