Bizarre Suicide for Western PA Man
1 min readPolice believe man shot and killed himself after crashing his motorcycle into a deer
CRABTREE – William M. Amos, 47, of Export, was discovered lying under his motorcycle on Route 819, about 30 miles east of Pittsburgh early Friday morning.
Police initially believed that Amos died as the result of hitting a deer, which was found dead and lying nearby, but after reviewing the scene of the accident police discovered a handgun and what appeared to be a gunshot wound to to the back of Amos’s head.
An autopsy later confirmed that Amos did die from a gunshot wound.
No other details have been released. Police are still awaiting results from toxicology and gunpowder residue tests.
What kind of motorcycle was it?
Me thinks the deer pulled the trigger in revenge!
