Genesee Men Arrested for Burglary

GENESEE TWP. – Two men have been arrested on charges that they burglarized a residence owned by Tennessee Gas Pipeline, of Coudersport. Jackie Bracey, 53, and Michael J. Cardy, 44, both of 2190 Hickox Ulysses Road, Genesee, PA, have been charged with the crime.

The men allegedly arrived at residence located at 551 Pump Station Road on September 7th in a 1994 Ford Ranger. Bracey then exited vehicle and entered the structure at which point Cardy left in the pickup truck. While inside Bracey removed copper piping and tubing which was mounted along the walls and ceiling of the residence. He was then seen carrying the materials through a field on the property and towards the driveway where he met back up with Cardy before fleeing the scene in the pickup truck.

Police arrested both men after executing a search warrant on their residence. Both men were arraigned in District Court 55-4-01 and remanded to the Potter County Jail in lieu of $15,000 straight bail.
