Albert Lee “Shotgun” LaPolt, Sr., 63, of Emporium

Albert Lee “Shotgun” LaPolt, Sr., 63, of 75 Four Mile Rd., Emporium, died at his residence Tuesday (February 22, 2011) morning.

He was born May 9, 1947 in St. Marys a son of the late Howard S. and Edna Lattin LaPolt.

In Franklinville, NY he married Minni Atwater LaPolt, who Survives.

Mr. LaPolt graduated from Emporium High School. He retired from Emporium Hardwoods where he had worked for over 45 years. He also worked for Zucco for a short time. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Emporium. Albert enjoyed hunting, shooting & relaoding ammunition, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and walking.

Sister: Dorothy LaPolt, Emporium

Sister: Edith Smith, Emporium

Parents: Howard S. and Edna Lattin LaPolt

Brother: Sanford LaPolt

2 Sisters: Alice and Mary LaPolt

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7 PM.

At his request, there will be No Service.
