Alice E. Vaughn, 95, formerly of Derrick City

Alice E. Vaughn, 95, formerly of Derrick City, passed away Monday, January 17th, 2011 at The Pavilion at BRMC.

Born June 26, 1915, in Bessimer, PA, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Cora Leona (Masterson) Feely.

On September 26, 1932 in Colegrove  she married Duane Vaughn who died on April 9, 1976.

She was a member of the former Derrick City United Methodist Church, and a member of the Derrick City Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She enjoyed bowling and playing cards.

Surviving is one daughter, Dona M. Brown of Lewis Run, 4 grandchildren; Sandy Orris, Duane Goodsell, Jeffrey Goodsell and Peggy C. Kamm, 11 great grandchildren; Shawn Hartman, Eric Thompson, Kristy Spaich, Susan Vilcheck, Julie Huber, Jill Richardson, Jessica Mackey, Brandi Radtke, Matthew Parkes, Amanda Goodsell and Duane A. Goodsell, 17 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, and a very dear friend Frank Wolcott. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter Joyce Dione Campbell in 2002, two granddaughters Lynn Hartman in 1997 and Debbie Lilja in 1999, three sisters and three brothers.

Family will be receiving friends on Thursday January 20, 2011 from 3-5 & 7-9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes Inc. East Main St. where funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday January 21, 2011 with the Rev. W. LeRoy Beckes, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in  Willow Dale Cemetery.
